Breast Cancer Research Aid have a lot of achievements including; visiting European Cancer Stem Cell Research Institute, Cardiff University on 2 May 2019. Prof Matt Smalley and Dr Richard Clarkson presented their recent breast cancer research development supported by BCRA funding and receiving a generous donation of £260 from the Glasgow Kiltwalk and the Hunter Foundation. These are just a few of their achievements over the years.
Breast Cancer Research Aid have one beneficiary which is Cardiff University European Cancer Research Institute, this institute aim to improve the understanding of the role of cancer stem cells in a range on cancers through world leading research. They can do this by the donations that they get from Breast Cancer Research Aid, this is important as both organisations are working together to try to find a cure for cancer.
