Combat Cancer is a charity that aims to promote the world class research for the development into fighting cancer. Combat Cancer supports the Woldson Childhood Cancer Research Centre, this brings together over 100 researches across the world. The centre focuses on 6 major areas: leukaemia, lymphoma, brain tumours, neuroblastoma, paediatric pharmacology and early phase clinical trials. Recently, the researchers have discovered seven subgroups of the most common childhood brain cancer, medulloblastoma, the hope could lead to new personalised treatments and result in better outcomes for patients in the future.

Combat Cancers goal is the relief of sickness and the promotion of good health among those suffering with cancer by fundraising for relevant research programs. Combat Cancers aim is to support the UK world class and establish research organisations into finding a cure for various types of cancers.
Combat Cancer have many different fundraising campaigns such as childhood cancer fundraising which is an ongoing campaign that started in 2018, pancreatic cancer fundraising from 2020 and prostate cancer fundraising in 2019.
Combat Cancer have 2 financial beneficiaries which are; Childhood cancer research beneficiaries – Wolfson Childhood Cancer Research Centre which Combat Cancer have donated £24000.00 to. The other beneficiaries Combat Cancer have is Pancreatic Cancer Research Beneficiaries – University Hospitals of Leicester HBP unit which Combat Cancer have donated £24000.00 to.
